Problem with price cuts is Sony is already losing a ton of money.  Making the hole they're in even bigger just for a short term sales boost isn't going to help their long-term financial goals.  They need compelling software to make people want to drop $250 on a handheld that basically plays the same games that a PS3 does.

It's not about financials, it's about marketshare.

No marketshare, no support. No support, you have nothing, especially if you're not Nintendo (1st party alone at least keep things afloat).

If they want to save vita, and I bet they do, they need marketshare, imo.
