Nintendo cut the price because the 3DS was performing below expectations. So they admitted it and did what they had to do, which was a great move. As for "panic bundles"(which I was saying in response to Turkish being overly defensive), I said that to underscore my point that if Nintendo's price cut was considered panicking, then these bundles would have to be considered panicking too - given Vita's situation is FAR more dire than 3DS' ever was.
