Mainly due to the price, but slightly the games as well. I don't want it to end up like my PSP (I know, I know it had many good games but...). So, I'll wait a few years until it already has a good library and decide then if I really want it.

Well thank God for early adopters, if all gamers were like you every game console would fail. Not to say that your logic isn't sound, it is. Its just their has to be risk in any purchase. Its a give and take.

-Consoles cannot survive unless someone buys them

-Customers are hesitant to buy a console if it doesn't have enough games

-Dev's are weary of releasing games until fanbase grows.

Its a cycle of everyone moving one step at a time I suppose. Someone has to make the first move.

Indeed. I am usually one of the early adopters, but not this time. I guess I could also blame the financial "crisis" for that since everything is at least twice as expensive now as it was in 2007.

I tell you what, I do know where you are coming from tho. PSP owners are probably really afraid Vita will be a repeat offender with massive yr long game droughts. I doubt it but its a rational fear. It is also asking a lot of money in this economy (although in Sony's defense, the PSP was around the same price originally).

Personally, I will be waiting for at least 3 games to release on PS4 that I want before getting it. I bought a PS3 with one game, Heavenly Sword. I loved that game but I spent the rest of my time with PS2 games. At least with the Vita I had Modnation(big fan of the series), Uncharted:GA, and Super Stardust Delta(CRACK!!!) right from the start.
