The Last Story Review! - Destructoid ("If The Last Story is the Wii's swan song, it is a miserable dirge, full of regret and remorse.")

Completely indifferent about this granted the reviewer's past history.

Already have it pre-ordered and I'm excited!

What else has he reviewed?  I'm interested in knowing that track record...  I don't want to give it hits so I won't go over.

Game preordered and I'll be picking it up at the end of the week.

Final Fantasy XIII 4

Xenoblade 8 (I think)

Chaos Rings 9.5

Dragon Quest 9 a 9.5

Deus Ex 9.5

I think he gave Deadly Premonition a 10 too...

These are the ones off the top of my head.

He normally ties to be controversial and imo Underrates things for hits, and overrates things he likes. I don't always disagree with his scores. But his writing is very immature etc. However, I do find Last Story significantly (2-3 points lower than xenoblade personally), the musics great though as expected.

Based on those scores you have given, this person is the best commerical website games reviewer in the past 10 years.

Because he is reviewing subjectively - Reviwing FUN.

You know, what a game is all about.

Go buy a copy of Deadly Premonition and tell me how much fun you have.  It's 10/10 game, isn't it?  I got it for $19 at launch, brand new.  It should be pretty easy to find.
