If you were a middle of the pack game developer you may be substantially better off by selling your game on one of the consoles/handhelds or steam.

It sucks being the middlepack in the IOS I can assume. I'm pretty sure if pushmo was on the IOS, it wouldn't have been succesful but on the 3DS its really succesful.
