It is unfortunate that it has it has become a meme, a culture even, for analysts and gamers alike to formulate unbstantiated rumors regarding Nintendo. It's frustrating for gamers such as myself who's actually waiting for Nintendo to prove itself, and see what they may have to offer.

While many see pety reasons deeming Wii U useless, I rather see its potential. However, it doesn't hurt to be cautious, though so I'll wait and see.
