vita is probably my favorite system atm.
it's got advanced enough controls (dual analog mostly but the screen is oh so gorgeous) to make "console" gaming on the go feel great and uncompromised. it's got enough gimmicks (touch and gyros) to make "mobile" gaming work beautifully as well.
the OS is solid. easy to customize backgrounds and layouts. navigation is simple an intuitive. my only complaint is 3G service is waaay too expensive. ...not that it's sony's fault other than i wish it functioned as a smartphone.
it's make digital releases mandatory which makes my games library waaay more mobile than my DS.
and it's got some really good games. library is small, atm, but what is there is quite solid.
