I agree with the complaints. I have a GameStop a mere 4 blocks from my apt, not even a 10 minute walk, and I refuse to go there, even if there's a good sale going on, because I refuse to give GS my business. I've witnessed countless times employees convincing unknowing parents to buy extra stuff that they don't need like strategy guides and accessories, extended warranties, etc.

And I hate being harassed at the register to preorder this or buy that when all I want is the one friggin game I came into the store for, and then they hand you a box that's already been opened with stickers all over it and charge you full price for a "new" game. I remember going there because they were the only ones who had Zack and Wiki for Wii in stock when it came out, I asked for it, guy rang me up and everything, then hands me the display box and pulls the disc out of a drawer in some plastic slip. I was like hell no, and I told him to give me a refund.

I almost wouldn't have a problem with Sony or M$ if they did in fact make their next consoles unable to play used games if it meant the death of GameStop. The ends would certainly justify the means in that case.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
