Granted.

This is still tremendously, tremendously stupid, and the fact that we need to fix it for the developers is staggering.

Why?  Same things happen with every Elder Scroll game, loads of bugs and broken parts of the game left to community to work on and fix, fans think this is 'great'.

I want to point out

Very carefully

That I can run Skyrim in 1080p, and even with the Bethesda Problem it still provides a generally satisfactory experience, where Bethesda tries to fix the majority of the problems they inevitably leave us with. Dark Souls is not going to do that for us, and it's going to burn out my eyes in the bargain.


So a game can freeze, be filled with tons of bugs, glitches and problems but as long as you can run it in 1080p, its awwright?
