I've never played a game in this series. Is the series, itself, any good? If so, there's a couple of PSP games that are only $9 that I can get for the Vita right now while I wait for this one.
Also, has anybody played Tales of the Abyss on the 3DS? I'm interested but I'd rather go off of personal experience than the opinion of a professional games reviewer. At this point, there isn't really much competition for Shin Megami Tensei to be king of the hill on the 3DS.
