Have you played Nocturne or DDS? If this game is 3rd person they should provide a good comparison for how SMT4 will turn out. The maps don't use tiles, but you're constantly pressing triangle or whatever to check out where you want to go on the map. Having that on the second screen would eliminate that. You don't need a grid map for it to work well.

I played only Nocturne, a lot. I know it would work well - even better on the 3DS because of the second screen. In fact, when this game was announced I thought SMT3 would be THE model to follow. But the more I think, the more I find the grid-type dungeoun crawler style is better for this game. It's a type of game that grew a lot in me, especially after the I played them with a second screen.

Maybe for marketing purposes they'll choose third person - as I think it's easier to sell a game like that. Or maybe they'll stick to tradition (minus 3) and go first person. But, like I said, either way they decide is ok by me, almost a certain buy from me.
