Yeah, alot of those matches you can tell they are figuring things out, some of them they only seem halfway competetive, half way messing around with the new characters. Olimar was definately an example of that, that wasn't quite pro level olimar play right there, but it illustrates that it will take some time to figure him out. It will take alot of micromanaging skills to keep track of which pikmin you're throwing next, and switching between pikmin to get the desired effects of the attack, as well as keeping track of the pikmin on the stage so you're not just wasting a space in your line up with some yellow pikmin standing off in the corner.
He has potential, but it's not going to be a pit or metaknight like character where you just pick him up and are instantly decent with him. He'll probably suck unless you actually practice mastering his unique skills. I really look forward to using him.
