Can't pick up nonverbal cues so I constantly second guess what I'm saying and what the other person feels towards me. The resulting confusion leads me to say nothing at all. Needless to say I haven't talked to anyone in a social setting since high school.

The psychological branch of medicine is unable to help because in a controlled environment I can say everything I need to do.

I have the same problem, but have been practicing. Vgchartz and cyber socializing helped me.

Figure this, that I was unable to socialize neither online nor IRL just 3 years ago.
