Because it supposedly had this great "Western" line-up (Uncharted et al) that Sony fanboys pimped like hell in the face of 3DS owners that didn't have shit at the time.
And it was all graphics this, 3G that, and oh yeah 2 analogs stick by the way yatta yatta yatta.
