Nah, the customer is plenty smart to know what product it wants.

the failure on a failed product falls soley on the manufacturerer for not understanding their potential customer.

Blaming the customer for being stupid is just a way to deflect blame. 

Thankfully the people at Sony don't have an attitude like that or they would be destined to repeat failures.
