It was like that since the NES days, you'd think they would fix it by the time the PS2 came along, especially when a 3rd, neutral competitor enters the market. I disagree, Oni. You can say things have changed, but you can't say it's because of the dominator effect since that's existed a long time ago and alternatives to it were offered, but they were not taken (especially with the PS2 and the DS).

Just for the sake of argument, ill say your right, but that doesnt matter, the end result is the same things have changed, and i dont see it ever going back to NES or even PS2 level, ever. That doesnt really benefit devs
