That really all depends on what kind of game the developer wants make. As far as presentation goes, the PSV game doesn't have to be sub-par.

I understand what you mean, but with a game like COD the precision is important so lower detail is a factor for enjoyment. I understand that the resolution is acceptable because of the screen's size (it's a quarter of an HD screen), the detail is still lesser than the HD twins. That can affect things like shooting at a distance and seeing small objects, and having a clear vision of the objects on screen, especially when the resolution is right but the detail isn't quite so.

Next, I was constantly told that games like AC needed the better processing power to have more characters on screen and a high level of AI. Aparently the Wii wasn't capable to offer that experience. Can the Vita? And if not, why would people buy it and not the Wii? Honest questions.

Well, I've never developed for the Vita or Wii but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Vita could handle a game like AC better than the Wii.

Wii has 91MB of ram total vs PSV 512MB (128MB VRAM)
Wii has 729MHz single core processor vs PSV 4-core which I can't find exact numbers on but can be anywhere between 800MHz to 2Ghz and carries the same cache sizes)
Everything I can find suggest a similar difference in GPU's between the two systems that appears between the two in CPU specs

In raw horse power, the PSV seems significantly more capable than the Wii.
