The easiest way to answer this is by saying "See Pezus' post". @ bold, that's not what I meant, and not really what I said at all. Bundles were one of only three things I listed (along with games and features, if you look back at the post). I am sure a price cut is something they're considering. But just because the 3DS did it and it worked, doesn't mean it should automatically be the "go-to" to boost Vita sales. Sony are obviously trying the route Nintendo decided not to which is wait and see what the bigger name games do for the system. |
What if that means it's all too late. I mean the HD twins remaining in the game despite a market leader (Wii) is a phenomenon we've only seen in gen 7 on both the portable and the home console front. Generally, in most other cases, it was dominated or be dominated.
Do you think Sony can certainly co-exist as strongly alongside a leader? If so, for how many generations before devs and consumers will simply opt the market leader and do away with multi-console purchasing habits (like it was in the past)? I'm not saying one is better than another, I'm just saying that in the past it was win or lose, gen 7 was the exception, not the norm.
