Most of the games you mentioned are board games. So instead of playing these board games during the 80s and 90s they have upgraded to the digital form. They didn't buy the phones to play the games. They play the games because it is available on the phone. I'm sure they probably have the free versions or didn't drop more than 10 dollars on their game collection. |
So your admitting that people like to play games on their phones?
Like I said to Arch, it doesn't mean a thing if it is a board game, casual game, hardcore game, etc... My mom plays games on her phone, not on a 3DS. My sister plays games on her phone, not on a 3DS. My fiance plays games on her phone, not a 3DS. I game more on my phone than I do the Vita.
What I find funny is that the games people are shitting on are the same types of games I see people saying "Vita needs on the go games, not full console style games".
Then we come to an iOS thread and that goes right out the window. Now iOS isn't a legitimate platform because it doesn't have full fledged console style games... even though it actually does.
What is even more rich is these are some of the same who also said Nintendo was great because they expanded the medium to more than just serious gamers and they were applauded for it. Now once again that gets thrown out the window. Who cares that iPhone brought in all new types of gamers, the games are casual board games and can be had for $0.00-$4.99.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
Currently playing:
