My fiance uses her Galaxy S3 to constantly play Scramble and Words with Friends. Before that it was Draw Something.

I use my iPhone to play games and listen to music. Currently playing Maple Story Live Deluxe & Squids.

My mother plays Scramble with my fiance using her Motorola Atrix. She is also playing some Kairosoft title, just can't think of the name at the moment.

I don't know what my dad does with his. I think he uses it primarily for music.

My sister plays games on her HTC phone all the time.

My co-worker is playing Words with Friends. I only know that because I hear the sound it makes when it's your turn and you recieve more letters.

I have another co-worker who tries to keep up with me in GameCenter score. He is at 1,997 and I am at 5,979.

iOS and Android are very much used for gaming and not just making phone calls. People claiming that they sell only because people want to upgrade to the next are insane.

I wonder how long before people stop being so afraid of mobile devices and just accept that they have a place in all of it as well, even if you don't like those styles of gaming.

Casual gaming, not serious gaming.

Profits probably none, Revenue all together not even close to Halo 4 or Black Ops 2 this year.

Mobile gaming isnt a threat, in fact its a joke and developers wont really care about it once Vita starts getting good sales like 3DS.

#1.) What does that have to do with anything? You must know very little about mobile gaming. Suddenly these games, which 5 of the 7 are on DS and/or PSP don't count anymore? This is only a small amount of titles. I don't even have racing, shooting, fishing, baseball, soccer, etc...

2.) Revenue sure, but that is only because the games are selling for $60. Did you know that the most profitable game ever for Epic games is Infinity Blade?

http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/27/3120308/infinity-blade-epic-games-most-profitable-game

Other than that you have nothing to prove what you just claimed. Also, unlike Black Ops 2 or Halo 4 these games don't require $200M+ ad campaigns.

3.) Vita is getting Orgarythm this year. So is iOS.

Ghost Trick is a DS game. It's also on iOS.

iOS has Scribblenauts too.

Look at the list from the top of my post at all the other DS/PSP titles on this joke of a gaming device. It's also getting another Final Fantasy that you won't find on the 3DS and/or Vita.

iOS has full fledged MMOs unlike the 3DS and Vita.

iOS has Skylanders too.

Even WP7 is getting the new Live title Ascend: New Gods.

Vita has Dungeon Hunter. iOS has DH, DH2 & DH3.

Gamevil has a ton of non casual titles on iOS and Android. Same goes for Kemco who is making a sequel to Symphony of Eternity on iOS and Android.

Amazon just created their own gaming studio so they can make titles for Android devices.

Your whole post is full of "probably", "when this happens" and writing off games because they don't fit your gaming style.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)
