I hope the US can pull out a gold in the women's beach volleyball final. 
As for the US vs. Canada football "travesty", it's part of the game. Calls and non-calls are made all the time that affect the game in different ways. You have to play on and play hard. The Canadians looked defeated the moment Wambach scored the equalizer in the 80th minute. They were just hoping to make it to the shootouts, while the Americans played for the winning goal (and they got it).
Oh, and speaking of missed calls, here's one for ya.
Now pick your chins up and get that bronze. You're more than capable against France!
