When I used to write FAQs for GameFAQs, there's something on there that distinguishes between facts (stuff like numbers, as an example) that can never really be expressed in another way, and the way people present those facts (like if they put them in a table in the way that FAQ writer did). Then, there's also strategies and the like people write for bosses/enemies/etc, which can't be copied. Trophy lists and descriptions are usually listed like they are from the XMB on the PS3 (at least the way PS3trophies.org lists them). For Spelunker mode, there are two ways to unlock it; inputting your name as SPELUNKER and then rescuing him. For rescuing him, you will have to put the method into your own words. |
Yes and as I noted in an edit, I removed all links to the maps that made use of a location such as A5, which in this game is basic btw, it shares the same map style as NES Zelda. The screen even scrolls the same way. Pretty much go as far down and left as you can, move up 4 areas and BOOM, A5.
I also did change things, so it wasn't really word-for-word.
Ancient Sword
Obtained as part of the story at the start of the game. See Getting the Ancient Sword.
Holy Sword
Inside the cave in area G4, between Ortego and the Desert Temple. See the World Map and The Holy Sword and the Anchor Rod sections for details. Requires the Wire Rod.
Hero Sword
Inside the secret tomb in the graveyard on the south end of area A5. The grave that's second from the right and third from the bottom can be pushed north, revealing the tomb. See "Getting the Hero Sword" under The Path to the Wind Temple for a picture and more details.
Note: When you get the Hero Sword, the Ancient Sword will disappear from your sword screen.
In that situation I trimmed them down to this:
Ancient Sword
Obtained as part of the story at the start of the game.
Holy Sword
Inside the cave in area G4 between Ortego and the Desert Temple. Requires the Wire Rod.
Hero Sword
Inside the secret tomb in the graveyard on the south end of area A5. The grave that's second from the right and third from the bottom can be pushed north, revealing the tomb.
I really don't see what the issue was. Like I said, I understand the Block Defense one where it has the entire strategy for every round, including the extra Block Defense mode.
A5 for the graveyard isn't linked at all and I did not include the map that makes use of the numbers.
Everything is fine all of a sudden if I remove "On the south end of area A5" and "in area G4", even though those serve no use at all since the map isn't located on gamewise and nor is it linked?
Sounds like a fuss made over 2 words on this sentence and maybe 1-2 on that one over there. Outside of the minigame section as I mentioned.
See, now it's suddenly okay, but still taken from an FAQ.
Ancient Sword
Obtained as part of the story at the start of the game.
Holy Sword
Inside the cave between Ortego and the Desert Temple. Requires the Wire Rod.
Hero Sword
Inside the secret tomb in the graveyard. The grave that's second from the right and third from the bottom can be pushed north, revealing the tomb.
Sorry to sound like a jerk, that isn't the intent. It's just that even getting some things to work right was bad enough and now I had to get rid of it.
Kinda just killed the whole Gamewise kick I had going for a bit. Too much work if you ask me, especially when GFaqs is right there.
If you want me to be honest though, I think you just mad cause I took the "Master" title away from you on Gamewise for 3DDGH.
Edit - Oh yeah, lol, the Overview written on Gamewise was from me, taken from the VGC 3DDGH thread I made years ago, but then changed a little bit to make it better.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
