You're probably right there. In the end I bet all we get is a HD remake of the Chronicles games.

Honestly, I do think we will see RE6 on the system eventually, there isnt a single mainline RE game that has not been ported to another system or was already multiplat. RE1=PS, Saturn, remake on GC that was ported to Wii, RE2=PS, N64,  RE3=PS, GC  RE0=GC,Wii  RE5=PS360, RE6=PS360

RE2 was also on GC, which means RE5 is the only RE that hasn't yet had a next-gen port (because Wii U isn't out yet) RE now spans three generations, while 0, 2, 3 & 4 just span two.

So yeah, there is a good likelyhood of there being RE5 & 6 ported to WiiU, and 6 will probably be ported to the other next gen systems at the same time.

It is a little over the top for sure (though REmake and RE4:Wii I approve of because some serious effort went into the former, and the latter took more effort than the average port, gave an extra control option and was also budget price... the RE2 & 3 GC ports, and the RE & RE0 Wii ports really did seem pointless though)

Im so glad im not a fan of the franchise, it seems like a pain in the ass to keep up
