I don't know why anyone, fan or curious customer, would want to preorder a Wii U at this point in time. Don't get me wrong, who doesn't want the newest console?
But still, after what has happened with the 360 red rings, the lack of known software, 3DS/PS3 overpricing, and 3rd party Wii abandonment, I would wait at least 18 months before throwing down any kinds of cash.
