Joking aside, about Gilgamesh's original post: We tightly associate OSTs with certain movies or games and we rarely see them as seperate music pieces that stand on their own. So if you didn't really like recent FF games that would probably attribute to your opinion about their respective OST.
I mean seriously, I still fail to understand what sort of argument you were trying to make with this thread. And I feel i should correct myself this is not a troll attempt, your thread was meant to be a full out flame war !
