Also, he needs to be able to do the things physically. I'm not 100% sold on him being the QB that he was before the injury "physically". A nerve injury on the side of the neck that is above your throwing arm can lead to numbness in your throwing hand which can lead to inaccurate throws. Even if it seems to be under control as the Broncos are stating, one good hit on it or just him throwing a pass could possibly throw everything out of whack. We'll see what happens, but the Broncos really are putting their eggs all in one basket as the expression goes. Gabe Carimi was the Bears 1st round pick last year and the O-line did much better last year until he got injured. If he and the rest of the line stay healthy, I believe that they will be average which would be good enough with the weapons that they now have. |
Before he was a Bronco I was very skeptical of his future and I still am. The thing is that with his history I cannot help, but think he will improve the team a lot. Even if it is not championship level. I am not alone though as he has brought huge excitement to the fans setting record attendances just for practices.
Well, the offensive line could improve. No doubt they will be better overall. I hope so as I do not want to see a domineering Green Bay once again.
