SCEA Trademarks “Rain” Ahead of gamescom Conference

Wouldn't anything to do with Heavy Rain by trademarked by SCEE, as the game was made by Quantic Dream in France? Or does it not work like that?

Though I prefer gaming on consoles, whatever they have to announce I really hope it's for the Vita. Because it really needs it!
