I agree... Metroid / Samus needs to be immersive and stay that way and be the Nintendo equivalent of Master Chief. That is where the character shines.
Trying to make her a character (Metroid Other: M) or a sex reward (2d Metroid games) just spoils the immersion and cheapens the experience.
