| spurgeonryan said: I spent a lot of time with the first one on the DS, so this rushed game is kind of disappointing. 5-6 hours? For a regular gamer like me that will still probably be 10 hours, but that is not enough at all. I think the coin idea is great, but I do not care to help my region win the coin total. Also I am surprised that they even gave this game 3D. Maybe they had to so that the 3D would still be a good decision, but there seems to be no point. I hope it explodes in sales this Christmas! |
This is a mistake the reviewer made. The itself is much longer and has more worlds, so I'm expecting it to be longer than NSMB DS. You can pretty much blow through both games, but to find every Star Coin and secret level, it's much longer. But, this is the thing that pisses me off. They gave NSMB DS a 9 on lasting appeal and this is what it says:
"If you just want to blow through the game from first castle to final battle, it's over in just a few hours. But there's so much more, including hidden levels and single cart multiplayer challenges."
But, yet, this review doesn't say that, but the game provides much more.
