Will it ever end?
Over twelve years since it was first released and it's still managing roughly 1 million shipped for the last quarter, that's on par with some current gen systems. The PS2 is even outselling the X360 in Japan and looking like it'll outlive it aswell. Sales are roughly 160 million shipped and an insane 1.6 billion games sold this mother f*cker has no sign of stopping. It really is a system in it's own league.
Now that the eigth gen is starting it's plain to see the PS2 is going to continue selling for atleast another 2 years, or maybe Sony will shoot for 15 years lol crazy.
So a few questions to add to the thread. How long do you think the PS2 will last, will the PS2 outlive some current gen (7th) systems if so which ones and what regions, what do you think the absolute final sales will be at?
