Certainly loads of PS2 stuff I played and enjoyed like Timesplitters 2, SSX 3, Tomb Raider: Legend, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Spyro: A Hero's Tail, Crash Nitro Kart, The Sims: Bustin' Out, Crazy Taxi etc. came to the Gamecube. All of those were relatively big third-party games. I can get where you're coming from in that stuff like Tekken, Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Solid etc. stayed on the PS2, but equally it didn't come to Xbox either. Sony either moneyhatted those franchises or they chose to stay where the userbase was. I think third parties did put the effort in with the GC, it's just those efforts were never really rewarded because Gamecube owners just bought Nintendo first-party games anyway :P |
This, i bought most of my 3rd party games on GC, because they usually ran better, (Sonic Heroes, Spider-man, SC2, etc.) but i know im in the minority
