I thought, judging from the '11 and '12 demoes, that for example controlls for aiming free kicks, corner kicks and penalty kicks were pretty bad. Shooting all over the place, but never where or how I wanted.
It could be I just didn't get them, but I've found the 'arrow' mechanic in the older games (last I owned on console was '99, aiming these kicks were about pointing an arrow on screen) to be vastly superior. As I see it, with the new touchscreen inputs, it looks like it's going to be easy once more!
