I'm gonna have to sit you down here for a second. When he said:
"...it exploded concrete dust up and outward as it fell downward."
He didn't actually mean that the concrete dust was cause by an explosion, but that it was forcefully expelled. Basically he meant definition 2. So you just went ahead and showed everyone on facebook you lack reading comprehension.
