Let's talk about individual games sales:
- Best second week for a Rune Factory game ever! Marvelous/Natsume must be so proud! First best selling Harvest Moon ever, now this has a big shot of becoming the best selling RF game too!
- Jykkyou Baseball almost flopped compared to last years. PSP sales are just a fraction of what they were before and Vita is nowhere to be seen anymore.
- Tingle for the Hardcore sold nicely with 26k! Actually it surprised me a bit, I expected a total flop. But Japan loves WTF thing so not unexpected
- The Trinity all held steady, except for 3D Land (but it was ok, since it was selling the highest anyway) with 60% increases. MH3G reached 1.5mi and growing! Full price yet too! I
- Onitore disappoints - for numerous reasons. But the most important imo is the theme of the game. Nobody likes to suffer through a game, and memory exercises, no matter how good they are for you, is suffering.
- Nayuta no kiseki did great. When compared to the previous ones, it felt short by some tens of Ks, but it's expected, since PSP is not the same anymore. But robust sales, all around
- Pokémon continues to be on that awkward level selling a lot more than a 3rd version but a lot less than a new game! But considering this game is almost free money + all those 3DS apps, this is a huge success.
- And Mario, while not amazing, did very good. This game's history can only be told in a few years, though.
All in all, 3DS hardware was the star and vita the shame of the week. 26:1 - now that's something you don't see everyday!
