In order to hold the license for the sports (such as NFL since they are the only publisher that can produce NFL games with NFL players (remember they bought exclusive rights to get rid of NFL 2K franchise that was eating into Madden sales). So in order for them to keep their licenses they must release on all systems I believe is what KylieDog was stating. Although I am not too sure how many sports they have exclusive license with. NFL I know is one. Luckily there is still a NBA 2K considering it has always been better than NBA Live.
