While its performance is definitely poor for an established franchise, its sales are exactly the same as the first week of the first Brain Age on DS. Perhaps it can do something similar and establish this niche on the console as its predecessor did. That said, I, too, doubt that it'll quite reach the heights it did on DS, which makes it the second franchise along with Nintendogs that doesn't look to emulate its success on DS on the 3DS.

All those market things considered, this game is also way more difficult to sell.

Everybody likes a good simple math problem or some "say the color" game. But put people to go through memory stress and see how many will literally explode! Evolution in those type of games is hard to sell, because it becomes less confortable to play. I'm willing to try the game, but wow, just looking at those videos make my brain ache!
