Well, that's not part of the rumor... for a fact we know they'll be different games altogether

For some reason, when they announced the game at E3 last year, I thought they were planning to make the same game for both systems with online cross-play between platforms which if you ask me would be a pretty sweet idea.

But no way, imo. Two games is much better than one. Each with their own defining features and different ways to communicate. In Sakurai we trust, he's the best at Nintendo since Miyamoto, after all.
