Well, the name is horrendous. It does seem like a name suited for the Japanese audience though... If they decide to keep it, the western version will probably be renamed Super Smash Brothers Retro or something.
It will be interesting to see how the 3DS/Wii U versions interact with each other. Perhaps they will do something as simple as switching skins between characters (giving the Wii U Mario the option of using his old skin, and vice versa)? It would be awesome to have the 3DS as a controller option, perhaps even with its own SSB cartridge, allowing stats and unlockables to be transfered between the two while playing. Even if only supporting one 3DS at a time.
