Who are the two witnesses?

One possible answer: Mohammad and his son-in-law and chosen successor Ali (yes that would be why Mohammad-Ali chose those two names for his name to replace Cassius Clay, and yes that would mean the Shiite view of Islam accords with Biblical prophecy). 1260 days = 1260 years (ref the Book of Numbers). In the Islamic calendar the year 1260 correspondes to 1844 AD, a year in which lots of Christian theologians at the time thought would be the Return of Christ, due to various other corroborating Bible prophecies.
