Ehhhhhhhh it was okay. I just don't like Marcus Beer really, he was less of a dick in the video but it lacked that comical, witty edge I'd expect for someone to pull it off as a show with legs. If he can improve the writing, maybe get someone a bit more creative to help out it could be really fun.

He absolutely loathes Activision and Bobby Kotick so once he gets round to that it'll be worth watching.

Well Ive agreed and disagreed with him on invisible walls, but from a gamers perspective I respect his opinion. I think his first show was dead on and will seal the deal for future shows. This show can have wit, but its going to come from him attacking things he doesn't like about the industry. If we have the balls to confront the things we dont like about the industry maybe it will change for the better. Hes right that we've helped these companies become billion dollar entities and the return hasnt been as great as some of the platform companies have tried to sell us.

I didn't really agree with his rant on Microsoft and the Xbox. I think it's a great thing for consumers that we're not being forced to fork out another $400 on another console only 4 years after we bought the last. It's much better value for consumers - many 'rants' could be focused on how exploitative the 5 years lifecycle thing was. The very fact this episode had him going at the Vita launc lineup was kind of ironic, as demanding new consoles and stuff will quickly lead to him complaining about a lack of content on his shiny Xbox 720 4 months after launch. Especially if they rush the thing out like he's demanding.

A rant about how dragging this console cycle is, is fine, but I think he went at it from the wrong angle. Microsoft (And Sony too) are in many ways saving the consumer money and giving them maximum value by prolonging this cycle. He should of focused the rant on how far PC graphics have surpassed consoles now, rather then suggest Microsoft are trying to milk the thing on greed when infact many would argue it's the best possible thing for the consumer.
