Do you really believe Monster Hunters budget is huge to the point where it wouldnt sell portables in Japan? Monster hunter would look and play so much better.The problem with the vita is the lack of games and Capcom needs to add it to make it an option to people. One thing about Sony is they are known for their LTD sales unlike Microsoft and Nintendo. They can drag out sales.

I initially thougth that they'd announce a Vita/3DS MonHun, but looking at the graphics on the 3DS version...it's just too underpowered there to make a Vita 'upgrade' viable. Quite clearly designed specifically for the 3DS. I think we will see a Vita MonHun, but Nintendo have secured some sort of exclusivity window for 2012/13. 

Im waiting for the PSP Vita to drop in price and gain more Japanese titles. The Japanese this gen work best when they've leeched onto old tech like the Wii, PSP or DS so they wont have to spend money to make their games. A game of this calibur on the Vita would be fantastic but I doubt Nintendo would stoop as low as Sony and Microsoft to try to gain exclusivity, but if they did I wouldnt be surprised that they are wising up to the western way of doing things.
