It was ridiculous within the context of their own article. In that same article, they mentioned how it would be hard to beat The Avengers because TDKR was a longer movie and thus would be shown less times for the day. They also mentioned TDKR was in 2D and thus would not benefit from the 3D surcharge. Ending the article with that prediction didn't make sense imo.
