Do you always choose the same type of Pokemon to start with?

I try to avoid choosing the same type twice in a row.

I usually choose-
R/B/FR/LG- I don't really care, because I like all the starters, but Squirtle is my favourite so I choose him most often.
G/S/C/HG/SS- Chikorita is my favourite, so her most of the time. Although Cyndaquil/Totodile are both cool.
R/S/E- No preference, I like them all equally so I usually just do eenie-meenie-minie-mo with two of them, excluding whoever I had last time.
D/P/PT- Piplup all the way. Turtwig isn't bad by any means, but Piplup is boss. Chimchar was the first starter I really didn't like, so I've only ever used it once.
B/W/B2/W2- I really didn't like any of the Gen V starters, I've never used Snivy because I dislike it's look, Oshawott would be my favourite here, but the starters are probably the worst Gen V pokemon of all.
