So they're going to continue to make core HD titles with relatively small potential audiences?

Not gonna make any predictions on THQ's fate, but for a company in their situation, taking huge risks on titles which might not perform is a disaster waiting to happen. What happens if Darksiders II flops? Or Homefront 2, especially given that the first game wasn't exactly a huge hit? This is exactly how THQ got into trouble in the first place. Now obviously a game can flop on any system, but isn't a lot better to have a flop game with a $10 million budget than a $50 million one? THQ needs cash in the bank badly, and this is a really dangerous way to achieve that goal.

I know just as little of their budgets, but I think the point that Rubin was trying to make is that; they wanna make the best possible game sthey can With the small budgets they have.
