Virgin Media's 100Mb (that's byte, not bit) fiber optic service here in the UK is much cheaper than that, and not much slower (100Mb compared to 128Mb)

I think the google one is 1Gb though.

You both need to stop that and get your acronyms right! You are NOT allowed to mess up acronyms in a thread where I have already explicitly described what each means. :P

:) But that's exactly what I said! :D 1Gb, , ,, 1 Gygabit! :#

TWRoO Accidentally confuses Virgin Media's 100Mbit system for being a "byte" system, yet still uses "bit" terminology. If he hadn't included the parentheses, his first part would have made perfect sense. Vrigin Media's system is 100Mbit. Google's system is 122MB (He accidentally stated it as 128 and accidentally used "Mb" again) and compared the GB vs the Gb, which was wrong. The real comparison would be 12.5MB vs 122MB or 100Mb vs 1Gb. When you didn't correct him I assumed you thought he was using the acronyms correctly. :P
