1.  Learn to "cut" stuff out of your paragraphs, that wall of text, ain't doing any of us any good.

2.  Half of Avengers was them fighting amongst themselves for the sake of fighting amongst themselves, very little of that progressed the plot; which was Loki getting his army.

3.  Lots happened after the plane hijacking, plot point 1: Bruce becomes poor.  Plot  point 2: Batman loses to Bane.  Plot  point 3: Gotham falls into chaos while evil "rises".  Plot point 4: Batman comes back and "rises" from his defeat.  Plot point 5:  "Batman's kicking some serious ass down there".  Plot 6: Bruce "sacrifices" himself to turn "Batman" into something more than just a man, turn Batman into a "legend", which comes back full circle to Batman Begins.

Translation:  I am Batman fanboy that can't be convinced that anything is better than The Dark Knight Rises no matter how much logic and facts that you use.

There.  I just saved everybody a ton of time trying to convince the unconvincible.  Next up, Doritos!!!

OR I like dialogue in my movies, not random fight scenes for the sake of having fight scenes.  Iron Man vs Thor wasn't necessary, Hulk vs Thor wasn't necessary (Though, was set up well).  Very little in that movie was necessary for Loki openning the portal to his alien army.  And shorten your counter arguments so I don't have to spend 10 minutes reading a huge wall of text (I'm actually asking you this, I wouldn't mind giving you a proper counter argument).  Oh and another thing, I'm not the unconvincible, you're the one ignoring my entire post after I broke it down for you in bullet format for you to understand.

Um ... I'm not Mandalore.  I had just been following your discussion.

I've read enough from you, though, to see that you're not willing to be reasonable about this.  You feel obligated to down The Avengers to prop up TDKR, even using arguments that are simply ... wrong.  For instance you mention how much you like dialogue in your movies yet relegate TA to nothing but fight scenes, even though critic after critic has praised TA for IT'S DIALOGUE.  And it has WONDERFUL dialogue.  Despite such a large set of characters, it also had arcs for Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, Black Widow and even Hawkeye to some extent.  Thor and Loki's moments resonate as their relationship is quite unique within the movie and even Nick Fury's desperation, exasperation and manipulation came off effectively.  I could talk for paragraphs upon paragraphs about TA's content without even mentioning a fight scene.

You see what I did right there?  I spoke well of The Avengers without once putting down TDKR.  Because it has nothing to do with why TA was great.  And it doesn't insult fans of TDKR.  That's all I'm saying, man.
