That's poor reasoning. Before the PS1, no Sony system had broken 100m either. Before the NES, no Nintendo system had broken 50m. Of course, that's because it was their first, but if you notice, those systems were ALSO the first to break those milestones at all!
Each generation, gaming has done better and better. Even the third generation flourished, despite the market crash that preceeded it! You can count on the Wii outdoing 100m. I can guarantee you that. I also believe it will outdo the PS2, but that's less guaranteeable
