1Gbps = 122MBps (Gb = GigaBIT, MB = MegaBYTE)
Game Size: 10GB = 10,000,000 KB
Download Rate: 122MB = 122,000 KB
10,000,000KB / 122,000 KB = 80 seconds
Correct me if I'm off, this bit vs byte conversion thing gets me confused sometimes as well.

Well I'm not sure if it's bits or bytes, but the google fiber website says 1000 MB per second. I suppose that could be bits or bytes. But more likely than not it's megabits.

First sentence in the OP: "Google launched its 1-gigabit-per-second broadband service"
gigabit.. :P
Plus, the second link that goes to the Google page that tells you all about their service, it shows "Mb" each time and states that it's 100 times faster than average internet today. Average internet today is around 1Mbps. If Google was 1GBps, that would be 800 times faster!
