Ubisoft has had massive success on Wii
Just Dance on Wii has made way more money than all the Assassin's Creed from PC, PS3, and X360 put together.
Don't be so skeptical... they have every reason to want their efforts on Wii to succeed huge. They have one of their best teams on the two Wii U exclusives. There is no reason to spend any more than necessary on ports.
