| Conegamer said: I feel this thread is a deliberate ploy to decrease intelligence. What does attach rate have to do with anything? Why did someone bring up Iwata? Why, even, are people talking about the 3DS? The last 'real' post in the past 50 or so is the one directly above this one. And that's quite depressing. So can people get back on-topic? Is that sooooo hard? I'll start the ball rolling. The Vita's major problem is that people don't want those games you've shown in the IP, they want portable-suited games, like Pokemon. Why is there so few 'portable' games? If anything's been proved, it's that Sony is wrong in thinking people want a portable PS3. They want a handheld. |
I feel the same way.
I have to ask people of this thread: Do you hate games or something? I mean, you can't possibly actually enjoy the hobby of gaming if you're trying sooooo hard to hate something, to wish ill on it. I mean, the arguments being thrown around here are just horribly stupid for so very many reasons. If you actually believe the Vita has no games and doesn't have anything on the horizon, then allow me to say this from the bottom of my heart: You are absolutely clueless and have no idea what you are talking about. Your inane arguments against the vita and its games are bad, and you should feel bad becuase your stupidity is bleeding into others.
No multiplats? it's got multiplats with PS3 and 360! It doesn't NEED multiplats from the 3DS.
No games? It's got the best launch window of any console or handheld (if not the best, then easily to- 3 ever)
No exclusives? it's got completely original stuff as well as original versions of established franchises.
No downloads? some of its best games are DLC, like Mutant Blobs Attack and Super Stardust Delta.
There's no reason the Vita and 3DS can't live in harmony with one another. They are both disctinctly different gaming platforms and the only things they really share are the fact that they're portable and have touch screens (there's more than that, but tht's the basic gist of it.) 3DS will haveits stable of mario games, metroid, kirby, zelda, mariokart, Pokemon, and other nintendo franchises as well as some quality 3rd party support, but almost all of it will be family friendly. The Vita is going to do just fine with its more mature take on gaming, it just needs some good adversisement becuase the quality is there, it just needs awareness.
